1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places in your browser when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your choices, and to give website owners a general understanding of how their pages are used.

Cookies do not contain executable code and cannot access other information on your device. They are stored only in your browser and can be deleted or blocked at any time through your browser settings.

3. Third-Party Services

Some cookies on our site are placed by third-party services we use. These providers have their own privacy and cookie policies:

  • Google Analytics — used to measure site usage in aggregate. Google Privacy Policy
  • Google Maps — embedded on our homepage to display our location. Viewing the map may place cookies from Google.

We do not use social media tracking pixels or advertising network cookies without your explicit consent.

4. Cookie Duration

Cookies fall into two categories based on how long they remain on your device:

  • Session cookies — exist only while your browser is open and are deleted automatically when you close it. Used for site navigation and security.
  • Persistent cookies — remain on your device for a set period (as noted in each category above) or until you delete them manually. Used for consent memory, analytics, and preferences.
